I have NO idea what Sakuraibaby is or any of these new-fangled places, lol - but if they actually let the stuff be posted elsewhere then that's more generous than some! I don't understand why it all got so hush-hush! :(

Yeah she does! ^^, she just wants credit placed with the reups. I guess people got possessive of their sharing or grew really big egos from comments. Then there's the whole 'we don't like foreigners' forums too.. lol I really don't know. I haven't been in fandom long enough so I'm just spouting out what I've seen. XD scanning and sharing is such a touchy topic now.

I find it weird that it suddenly seemed to become like this - especially because the people who are so possessive usually don't even seem to be Japanese! I really don't understand how this atmosphere came about, lol. I do suspect there's an element of xenophobia about it, which is really quite sad. :/ It just makes me feel bitter!

I try not to feel bitter. I think seeing stuff being taken down from Youtube, fansub streaming, and then there was that year where people in Japan were charged for sharing scans of manga.. or something.. creeped people out and pushed them underground so to speak. Then the whole posts about what is 'right' and 'wrong' about scanning and taping stuff.. it's a bit disheartening. I just hope sakuraibaby sticks around for a lo~ng time. XD
