My eventful weekend! or why I wasn't around to bother you all like normal.

On Friday I baked a special cake for The Man and decorated it horribly. I figured he'd get a kick out of it. Which he did on Saturday when we met up to spend Valentine's together. woot.

But I'll get to that in a second. first, Friday again.

Friday morning I got a package from Tokyo~





got from tsuyoshi8joy. All arrived safely and omg the mug is sososo adorable! and tiny! and the writings on it all lol and wtf is with the duck?! I love it, thanks so much, J-san!

anyhow.

So I then made the cake... and then bummed around with the grandparents.. and then! Saturday came and I decorated the cake. Weird? Well I didn't bake until after 7PM and figured it'd be cooled enough to frost and such the next day. Which it was!



Saturday, he came and got me. I'll just give him a nickname like, Poochy. Poochy sounds good XD

So Poochy picked me up and we hung out and caught up for the week and then it was dinnertime! But the place he wanted to take me had a 2 hr wait. He was pissed, I was like whatever, and so we went to my local fav Japanese restaurant and ate ourselves silly. Then! We drove back to his place and played some games and watched OnePiece (that's right, we're both losers). Then! XD! we ate cake! I'm broke right now so the cake was his gift lol anyhow, he saw the cake and knew exactly what it was. I frosted it to look like a Eight Ranger helmet XDDDD He laughed. I don't know if I should be proud that he knew right away or worried that he even got a little happy about it.. Dunno. Anyhow, got some plates, he cut a piece out of it and HOMG!!



It's a full Ranger cake! XDDD



He was so surprised he just about flung the piece he just cut onto the floor. It was awesome. And the best part? He loved it XDD First time making it and it turned out okay. Though yes, the 'helmet' was a really bad attempt. XDD please feel free to mock.
My grams had asked if I were going to bake his cake using the heart-shaped pans and I had no plans to do so, but after she asked I said.. 'sure, gramma...' That's why it's weird shaped XD Cuz it's not a normal circular cake, it's heart shaped lol


after that, I slept over, woke up, said Happy Valentine's Day!, had tasty lunch, then he gave me my gift and card ^^, the card I left at his house though D:



He told me a story about when he went to buy it and it was funny to me but it's too much writing. and it would probably make Poochy sound like an self-important ass but whatever. Anyhow, I love it and he got me a bracelet that's fancy enough to start convos with but simple enough to wear whenever. Like I said, love it!

I had gotten him a card too, but I made it myself. It was pretty corny. He's showcasing it on his work desk *facepalm*

That's it. Oh, and he had a cold the entire time and I think it was made worse because we were out doing stuff but he was whiny about it so we did our plans anyhow. Made me feel bad though :P

oh wait! no, there's more. When I returned home I had some goodies waiting for me from my mom! She got me a card with Cupid being electrocuted by some phone lines and a box of my favorite See's candies XDDDDD I'm loved.

Haaaaaa, rainbow cake!!!! It's been some time that I wanted to do one, but I can't bring myself to buy so many different food coloring when I perfectly I'll never re-use them XDDD

I like food coloring XDD so I bought the good kind. You should try it some time! It's a bit messy but turns out awesome.

I had no glitter D: but I did draw really bad renditions of us and I had sticky heart.. sticker things that were glittery! I'll try and remember to take a pic XD

They are caramel covered almonds placed on top of a little mound of chocolate XDD they are called 'almond squares' they are so good!!!! and I LOVE CARAMEL!!!!! 8D
